Private & Group Art Classes

​Melissa is a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher, and encourages her students to try new things, challenge themselves and have fun while creating and experiencing art of all kinds! Lessons are available year-round to students ages 5 and up.

Group Classes: Melissa is currently teaching youth classes and camps as well as adult workshops through Main Street Arts Gallery in Clifton Springs and Stony Point Arts Studio and Gallery in Fairport, check websites for schedule.

Private Group Classes: Scout troops (art/craft badges of all kinds), school or church groups, Bridal showers, Ladies’ nights, corporate team-building, and other special event classes are available.

Homeschool Lessons: Are you a homeschool family looking for an experienced art instructor, with the convenience of having lessons in your home? Melissa’s homeschool lessons allow your children or your homeschool co-op to sample many different kinds of art and art history in a comfortable atmosphere. Projects are selected that reflect the abilities of the children and the goals of your family’s schooling.

Private Lessons: Beginner to advanced – children and adults, of all levels and experience! It is never too late to learn how to create. Private lessons are custom tailored to student’s abilities and interests. Advanced lessons may include portfolio-building for prospective art school applicants. Private lessons are a great way to take a motivated student to an exceptional result.
